Not sure if its deliberate or not, but the e-mail notifications that im getting for replies to threads on GCA are showing up as coming from Riblit@Riblit.com not the GCA address.
Has it changed, or has the system stuffed up somewhere?

I did a change last night as the support line has been getting anumber of emails from new members asking why their accounts had not been activated. With the recent change to registrations a new account has to be manually vetted and activated. When I checked I found around 300 inactive accounts in the system. I changed the address so I get the new account details, which I can then action. The bbs software only has one one place to insert an admin email address and it uses it for a reply address for thread replies. Until I can arrange something better (catch up with i! and arrange some forwarding) you will see one of my addresses.
We had 3 new sign ups last night that otherwise would have been in limbo.

I just changed the address to newgca@riblit.com so if you see that one you know why.
It'll revert to the old address as soon as we work something out.

I think the latest release of the bbs software has the AlphaNumeric index. The Ginger Loon wrote:Are the 300 inactive accounts going to be purged from the database? I'd make searching the Memberlist a bit easier if it did.
Either that or add an AlphaNumeric Index at the top of it Memberlist page (2nd request)...

As for the accounts, I activated about 50 of the latest with Australian email addresses yesterday.
