Swaggies - Issues

Post by Cached » 05 April 05 2:02 pm

Hi,

Lets assume I have never used GCA and I find a swaggie.

I open www.geocaching.com.au - and then what?

You can't see from the front page where you should go.

If you type "Swaggie" in the search nothing comes up.

If you type "Virtual Hitch" (my swaggie) in the search -nothing comes up.

Could we maybe have a subdomain for them such as http://swag.geocaching.com.au?

I suppose I am thinking of this from the angle of using a coin as a swaggie - You want to be putting minimal information on the coin, like a TB. On a TB you only have the TB password and the website - not the TB number as well.

It shouldn't break search thingys as long as the results are reasonably similar in formatting.

It might be worth mentioning swaggies on the front page too, rather than hoping a finder will think to use the search.
