Log Import broken? [closed]

Post by The Garner Family » 20 February 05 7:07 pm

When I go to import logs I get:

--------------

The Groundspeak username detected is "".

Sorry, we couldn't determine the Groundspeak username. Import failed.

-------------------

Has this broken since the changes at gc ??

Horus mentioned that <a href="http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopi ... 6">here</a>. he also posted how he got around it.<p>
The log import page needs to be changed to accomodate the new groundspeak layout. It's in the queue.<p><p>

edit to make the link work

Heh.. sorry, I'd read that other thread too

I got the import routine to start, but a funny thing happened.

The log I was trying to import says it was successful, but if you have a look at my cacher page (http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/The+Garner+Family) you'll see one of the logs at the top looks like it's got a double tick next to it.

However if you look at the page source you can see whats going on:
------
<li class='found'><a href='/cache/gc86b3' class='s'>Ku-ta views</a> <font size='-2'>Mount Coot-tha</font></li>
<li class='found'><a href='/cache/gc50e0' class='s'></a></li>
------
When GC50E0 was imported it looks like its had trouble picking up the cache's name and so that part of the log is missing.

I can't seem to fix this myself.
