Log Import problems
I've just been trying to import Bastvets logs from GC into GCA, but everytime I try it I get the following -
"The Groundspeak username detected is "".
Sorry, we couldn't determine the Groundspeak username. Import failed."
Is it possible that the changes in the GC layout over the past 24 hours might have broken this? Or is it possible I am doing something wrong?
The first couple of lines cut from the GC logs page look like this -
Home > My Account > Log Lists
you are logged in as bastvet [log out]ÂÂ

I've managed to import the logs after a bit of playing around, I had to delete the first line, that left I think about 4 or 5 spaces than the text "you are logged in as bastvet [log out]", which is what you said should be there in your "import logs FAQ"! I'd tried this previously without luck, so I'm not sure what was going wrong!

Just wanted to let you know so you didn't waste resources trying to fix a problem that was probably at my end

<P>No worries! I just wanted to be able to let the cachers back home know Snuva was blasting through these Californian caches! But I must say it's frustrating that horus could figure it out and I can't; however he is smarter than most (unless you are a teapot - then his magnetic personality apparently takes over).ideology wrote:sorry this slipped off our radar
it's probably still broken
we hope to take a look at it this week

The only difference I can think of is the first time I was using my Mac and Safari, and when it succeeded I was using a Windows box at the clinic with Firefox. Maybe I just got the combination of cut and paste right, or maybe Safari picked something up that Firefox doesn't and Ideology's script burped at it - although I did try following the instructions to the letter on the Mac with the suggested text in the first line or two.
