Log not showing on GCA.com but is on GC.com
Hi,
why is it that my logged find on "Toilet Talk" from DEC 26 2004 appears on the GC.com listing but not on the listing here?
Gc.com listing:
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... y&decrypt=
GCA listing:
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/gcm1z6
You can see my log appears on the GC site but not on GCA....
Any ideas? Have I logged it incorrectly?
Thanks

I had some logs on CGA but had 1 that was missing so I did the import. It checks which ones you already have logged here and only imports the missing ones so there was no double ups.Geof wrote: If we have some logs already in here and do the above will there be double ups
Just do it, it will sort it out for you, it's quite clever.

What I've found in the past though is that while this thingy checks for double-ups, the log import that runs daily and pulls the logs off of GC.com doesn't check for double-ups (unless its been changed).
So that means if you're really eager and you import a log BEFORE the overnight script gets a chance to import it then it will be a double AFTER the overnight script finishes its work. Moral: Don't import todays logs.

i! have a script that they occasionally run to delete duplicate logs. If you have duplicate logs and attract their attention they will run the script. The Garner Family wrote:What I've found in the past though is that while this thingy checks for double-ups, the log import that runs daily and pulls the logs off of GC.com doesn't check for double-ups (unless its been changed).
