No idea at the moment. Editing the listing updated the elevation to 735m.

Got this error when running query 4080:

Code: Select all

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8192 bytes) in /var/www/site/gca/include/gca_database.php on line 49
Given that another 800 cache powertrail has just been hidden in this area, I assume this error is due to too many caches? This query returns over 4000 caches, and well over half of that is powertrails that I'd rather not see - it would be great to have a way to get these off the query so it's not so big in size! (Not equal to 'public tag' )

I can't reproduce that error. I get a list of 5,000 caches returned. Are you getting this on a return to the scree, count, gmap, other?

It seems to be a bit random, sometimes I get it sometimes I don't - the gmap source seems to trigger it every time though: http://geocaching.com.au/my/query/gmap_ ... 0/96114735

The count returns 4318 for me.

Thanks. That will help me track down the issue.

I have increased the memory.

What you are doing is somewhat unreasonable. 5000 geocaches returned to a map seems a little extreme. As more geocaches get added to the list the more memory it will consume. I am unlikely to increase the memory limit again for something of this nature so you may need to look at some other means of getting the data, maybe by reducing the number of geocaches returned or selecting other caches types to reduce the volume.

Excluding a cache based on a tag being present is not really viable as the NIT clause is particularly poor, especially when wildcarded.

5000 is extreme - I don't want 5000. All I really want is the 2000 odd non-powertrail caches in the area. But since you can't filter these out on the website, I need to download all of them and filter them myself.

The problem is only going to get worse as more powertrails are created...

If you are really that desperate for those sorts of geocaches, you may need to go back to the source site to filter them out. Or add them to your ignore list.

Is the search by date functionality returning to the forums soon? I'm forever scrolling thru trying to find the latest posts.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

I'm sure it's been covered but haven't found the topic so far...

Today's daily email listed three GCA caches as having been archived, presumably overnight, yet the archived log was dated as 22 Jan 17. GA9617, GA9619 & GA9620

Yes, why is that an issue?

A log can be logged on any day with any date. i.e. The archived logs where placed in the system yesterday, but were dated some time in January. So you only see them today because they were entered yesterday. The date they were archived is accurate because they were only there for the event.

No issue, just surprised they only appeared in the daily email yesterday. I'm aware they were event-only but thought I had seen them as "archived" many weeks. My mistake, must be confused with some other cache(s) around that area.

The event was a great day. Those who didn't attend missed out on some good caches and a lot fun.

I get the following error when trying to upload a KML file for a zone:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function zone_bounds() in /var/www/site/gca/docroot/my/zone/index.php:164 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /var/www/site/gca/docroot/my/zone/index.php on line 164

I've checked that the kml file structure matches what is in the wiki - let me know if you would like me to email the kml file to you.

Please try again. We did a lot of work around the new interior rings and this appears to have slipped through the crack. Please let us know if it is successful or not.
