The latlon shortcut is broken.

Entering latlon.info/tp4048 redirects to http://geocaching.com.au/tp4048 rather than http://geocaching.com.au/cache/tp4048 as one example. Which doesn't work.

Ah,

Latlon.info isn't around any more. I cancelled my hosting for it last week, turns out I was paying about $15 a month for webspace I wasn't using for anything other than than latlon.info and some linux stuff from 5 years ago. It's just a redirect at the moment, hence no smarts.

I'll see what I can whip up to get somethign working here (pending senate approval) (after I do forums and stuff)

FYI: Not actually a Geocaching Australia thing.

I wasn't thinking and put a name search in the 'log a cache' box and got the following message.
Unknown/unlisted cache

Sorry, this cache is unknown or unlisted. To search for a cache, use the search box in the top right hand corner.

As there is now not a search box in the top right hand corner but a menu dropdown perhaps this message should be changed.

No worries, but I had no idea where else to report it :)

I'm trying to plan my holiday walks, to see what we can find when walking through the Blue Mountains.

I tried at http://geocaching.com.au/caches/available/gca/au/nsw/ to get the KML file, but the output of the "Google Earth" link is only the KML header and not any actually data.

That's correct. It's a KML Feed not a file. This is as per design.

Aha okay, based on the name I expected a KML file with the data, not a live feed.

With the new DZ display I found something strange.

The zone East Pilbara (S) shows dual control but both controlling clans shown in the popup are Griffin.

As far as I can see there is only 1 cache of the 183 in the zone controlled by Griffin with the rest yet to be found or found by cachers who do not have a clan.

http://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/zonecontrol/ shows things as expected with just the one cache controlled by Griffin.

Thanks. Not sure how that happened but a quick update of the zone and it's been fixed.

Seems to be a problem with player stats on Tas stats site. E.g. I have 8 finds for April according to stats yet have 11 DZ finds for April but if include all cache types e.g. locationless then have a total of 12 cache finds for April.
I believe the yearly stats are out too??

The stats are for caches hidden in Tasmania, not cachers who are based in Tasmania. The stats are only generated infrequently (about 1:00am this morning) so will not have your last find. At this point the stats look correct.

IF ALL CACHE TYPES are counted then my total for April is ACTUALLY 12...NOT 11 as shown(ok...close)...2017 YEARLY STATS says finds are 84....actual figure is 96.
Another example: 2y'stassies STATS for April says 6...yet in actual fact it is 47......so no matter what cache types are counted, clearly something wrong here????? 2017 yearly Stats says 87....by my manual counting it should be 232.???????? Quite a large difference.
Either not all cache types are counted.....OR I'm missing somerhing.
Obviously cachers aren't taking any notice of them....so may as well not be there.

This not a count of caches found by sirius Tas. This is a count of Tasmanian caches found and by who. I believe you have found 12, of which 11 are in Tasmania. So the Tasmanian stats show 11. Your locationless find doesn't count in the Tasmania stats because the cache is not listed in Tasmania.

If I found 50 in Victoria and 50 in NSW, when I check the stats I would not see caughtatwork 100 I would see in the Victorian stats caughatwotk 50 and in the NSW stats caughtatwork 50. If I checked Australia I would see caughtatwork 100.

However if I also found 10 in the USA, I would see for Australia caughtatwork 100 and not 110 as I have only found 100 caches in Australia.

This is not about the cacher, this is a dashboard for the state or country.

Just wondering why some Trigs have no height given to them while most do.
Is there anyway to add a height...e.g. TP7624 has height showm as zero but is actually 740m as per LIST Survey data.
