Re: dragonZones
We don't have to do anything. LGA's were a convenient method of gaining the data at the time. We can leave them alone and not have to change anything.

The dragons pay no heed to such administrative trivialities!

Re: dragonZones
Let's send the dragons out to decide which councils should be merging and where borders should be drawn, that might mix things up a little.

Re: dragonZones
I've never really looked at my dZ allocated points board before and am wondering what the letter after the zone name is, ie (C) and (A)?

Re: dragonZones
(C) = City
(T) = Town
(S) = Shire
Not sure what (A) is ... Authority or Area perhaps.

Re: dragonZones
Okay. I take it (T)s and (S)s only exist east of the divide in NSW?
What do (R) and (DC) represent?

(DC) = District councilNo_Tomorrow wrote:Okay. I take it (T)s and (S)s only exist east of the divide in NSW?

(R) = Regional? or Rural? There are Regional councils and Rural cities (and yes, that doesn't make any sense) in SA
There are (T) towns in SA to - usually suburban councils that cover a small area.
(S)'s only exist in NSW and Queensland I believe.
Re: dragonZones
I asked a question in 2014 about this matter & C@W replied:No_Tomorrow wrote:Okay. I take it (T)s and (S)s only exist east of the divide in NSW?
What do (R) and (DC) represent?
A = Administrative Area
B = Boroughs
C = Cities or Councils depending on the state
DC = District council
M =Municipalities
RC = Regional councils or Rural cities depending on the state
S = Shires
T = Towns
Unincorporated
Perhaps R is something new or missing the C.

Here's some more:
(RC) = Rural City
(RegC) = Regional Council
(M) = Municipal
(AC) = ???
So I don't know what (R) is...

Re: dragonZones
My GeGnome appears to have been in Moreton Bay QLD (R) when I published it. Weird.

Re: dragonZones
It's in Moreton Bay now because it's in Morton Bay now. It would not have been there when published. A movable cache moves zones and takes its point along with it so moving caches in and out of zones changes control.

Re: dragonZones
Moving a cache out of zone you want to control if it's controlled by the wrong clan is as beneficial to finding a cache and taking control of the cache. Get those pesky Cerberus caches out of your zone.
