This is an interesting time for gegnomes.
Now the pressure's off, they wander like zombies, sometimes meditating under a bush for months or years.
My gegnome from the last gnome race is also in WA, West Poppinyinning, if such a place really exists. Maybe it's a fantasy location where old gnomes just go.........

He's about 60km from yours Louise.

One of mine lost an arm, but I think that was the only damage. Once it made it to the ACT in the last couple of days of the game it moved more than it did in the whole of Victoria. Mixture of :-) and :-(

Same with mine. Canberra is a hotbed of genome movers.

Yes 3 of mine headed to the capital together with a bunch of other Sydney ones leaving us with few to play with. Had things been different I might have organised a weekend raid to steal some back but it didn't happen. My other one headed to Eden which effectively took it out of play. Oh well.

I am avoiding "best" which is simply too subjective. I saw so many creative gnomes this year that I would also like to nominate some for a reward, but again, it's too subjective and I didn't get to see them all and missed heaps that may have been equal or better.

The list of winners will be posted shortly.
Just wanted to say a big thanks to caught@work who once again provided the caching community with a fun game over the last few months.
Congratulations to all that played.... now to get my gnome back.... hehehe.

I wonder if we can dredge something out of the remains, such as a race for the gegnomes to get back home to their creators?

Oh dear, such sensitivity.
Replace that with......
I wonder if we can build on that excitement with a follow up celebration involving a triumphant return of the GeGnomes to their birthplaces.

Yeah. A lot of sensitivity. I wonder why. You're welcome to do as you see fit.
