I've seen a couple of comments about server time, so I thought I should highlight that the displayed time is actually in YOUR preferences!
Go to 'User Control Panel' -> Board Preferences -> Summer Time/DST is in effect and tick yes then Submit.
Ta-Da!
Those folks unfortunate not to live on the east coast can also select their local timezone in there so all times for posts etc are shown in thier TZ.

Well I headed of caching today with the intent to go to an event at 12 noon and a hour (or two) before hand I still had no idea what the time was... Had to ring another cacher and ask "What is the time?"...
