Updating of missing Cache Logs

We are instituting a policy that we will update logs manually only if they are over 1 week old.

Usually the logs will make their way to our site any time within a 5 day window (depending on the caches location). It is highly likely that your logs would be captured some time within that timeframe automatically anyhow.

We would strongly suggest that if your logs being on GCA is important to you that maybe you invest in a GC.COM premium membership and utilise their 'My Finds' Pocket Query feature in tandem with our log import facility.

This will also ensure that any overseas logs you have also make it in to the system.

I hope you understand our position, as manual chasing of logs is a time consuming thing, and there are only 2 or 3 of us managing the site at any one time.

Hi just wondering about the logs that come over from GC, I have done 28 this month but only 23 of them actually are showing on GCA. Is this related to this subject of missing logs. All the caches I did were roughly in the same area.

Victoria gets a couple of feeds per week (more than other states).

If you still haven't got them after a week and you are a premium member, follow the instructions on this page.
http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Uploading_logs

We get most and we hope all, but occassionally, we miss a few.

Found that one cache was dropped / missed out from updating last August. That's GC1XKWJ. It would be appreciated if it would be arranged to be fixed.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I've got one missing log too, and my log is no longer in the last 5 entries. Can I have some faeries help me out? The cache is GC1X7PZ. Strange, the other cache I found that night updated!

Another ones that dropped out of the system....

Missing logs in Sept:
GC1V84R; GC1YEMP; GC1YEMN

In Oct:
GC1XKVK; GC1X11G; GC1Y57Q; GC1VYNZ

Kindly fix them for me.

It seems that GCA doesn't love me anymore ](*,) and it happens more often lately :-k

Thanks in advance.

Done.
We might need to check the WA feeds again.
Thanks for the headsup.

Hmm yup, WA feed seems dodgy. I've only got one log showing on GCA despite finding several on that day (and I've waited a few days to see if that'd update..). Hmmm.

Another ones that are still missing after over 1 week. They are:

GC1YRC9; GC1YRC6; GC1Z4KC.

Worth to visit and solve WA feeds problem? :-k

Thanks

Thanks.
I don't know why the WA feed stopped. Maybe I wasn't nice enough to the Faeries.
Anyway, that has now been forcefully fixed and they should come through OK from tonight and now on.
