Re: Dinosaur Moveable Game September 2018
I'll be in town tomorrow morning, I think a Tweed Bar view sounds like a great spot for Breakfast! I think any dinosaur hidden at the Kirra lookout would be reasonably well hidden from the average muggle, but there are some smart ones amongst them. That park look immaculate last time I was there. I don't think the Seaside Scavengers will have much to collect.

Got my 3 out! The GCA shop Dino's were a great option during this non-holiday period. Hoping to see a number pop up around Sydney tomorrow!

We are off and racing in Tasmania.
I notice that any dinosaurs published and released at 12.05 pm this morning do not have any dragon zone points allocated but ones that were published later do? Also I have moved 4 dinosaurs this morning and they do not appear on the ladder as yet.

Did the dinosaurs you found have the Public tag "springcachingcarnival" as this is how they are identified as being in the game?whitewebbs wrote:We are off and racing in Tasmania.

No they didn't but I added when I logged my find as I knew it should be there. Did it for the CO.

The all have the appropriate points now. A small issue caused the points to be delayed.

I released a traditional at the sametime as my Dino moveables & it hasn't been allocated points - GA12846.caughtatwork wrote:The all have the appropriate points now. A small issue caused the points to be delayed.

PSA: Don't put spaces in the tags, they won't get recognized if you do.
https://geocaching.com.au/tags/view/all ... 0carnival/ <- spaces between spring and caching and carnival
https://geocaching.com.au/tags/view/all ... gcarvinal/ <- carvinal
https://geocaching.com.au/tags/view/all ... 0dinosaur/ <- spaces instead of comma
https://geocaching.com.au/tags/view/all ... 0carnival/ <- way too many spaces.
https://geocaching.com.au/tags/view/all ... gcarnival/ <- no idea but it's not the right string.

All those linked to above had or now have the correct tag in addition to the incorrect one.MavEtJu wrote:PSA: Don't put spaces in the tags, they won't get recognized if you do.

Re: Dinosaur Moveable Game September 2018
I found GA12934 today and moved it from its original position in Rokeby to Lauderdale. While checking the ladder I noticed It has not had a move registered. It shows no distance at all and no coordinates are showing in the published log now of where it started off. The coords in the published email on the 1 September were S42 53.956 E147 26.259.
Re: Dinosaur Moveable Game September 2018
I have entered 5 dinosaurs into the race GA12839 to GA12843 and none received any points for being hidden as is the usual case for a hide, can this be checked please?

This is my dinosaur and I too would like to know why the first move by whitewebbs was not recorded. The move was from S42 53.956 E147 26.259 to S42 53.956 E147 26.259, a distance of 3.8km. The move and distance have not been counted.
