Yeah to us all for creating and finding all those geocaches - and perhaps more importantly for building a community.

Sounds interesting, but too bad you have to use it with BaseCamp. BaseCamp always makes me feel violently stabby. But I'd like to see the imagry for my area first.

Re: Is anyone still here???
I'm still here but am in full holiday mode at home since I wasn't able to go to the event. I've done NONE of the stuff I should do around the house today; I just woke up from a nap. Friends that I've told to meet other friends at the mega event have started meeting and it is reported a brilliant tim...

Re: 2009 Cyber Flash Mob Topic “Positive Caching Experience”
I hope you guys got some good data out of it, It blew me away with the numbers, I was not expecting that bigger turn out. Not everyone posts a 'Will attend'. Thanks for having that - I enjoyed it a lot - nice 'seeing' so many friends logged in at once. And a great venue for an event!! :D

Re: 2009 Cyber Flash Mob Topic “Positive Caching Experience”
I love meeting up with other cachers, whether online or in person. I've had some fantastic group caching experiences, enjoyed events with cachers from near and far, and have a great bunch of Twitter/cacher friends!!

Re: *** New Site Testing - We need your help ***
Since the change to the new forums I never get anything when I try to view new posts, which I'm sure will be fixerated in due course but in the mean time I find I just get very violent if I go near the forums. It makes me want to hide lots of micros on the west side of the Tamar. LOTS of micros, we...

Re: *** New Site Testing - We need your help ***
I've changed my URL shortcut for GCA to enter directly into the forum instead of the frontpage of the website to be able to use the "View New Posts" but I am still having problems. On the main forum page there are at least half a dozen or so sub-forums with orange dots indicating new posts. Use the...

If you'd like to meet up with some locals, there's a decent spot for an event close by plus plenty of spots closer to Hobart. If you'd like some recommendations the locals are happy to help. Seven Mile Beach is a lovely spot.

Depending upon if you want to wait (which I don't think you do! ), there's also a 500 coming out; internal camera. You probably don't want that but just thought I'd mention it to confuse you more. I really like the TOPO Australia. I can show you at the event this weekend - if you can hold out ...
