From my experience (albeit limited) you don't actually delete the caches, you mark them as found, then they disappear from the list of active caches & show up on the map as an open treasure chest. To remove them totally from your GPSr you need to delete or overwrite the GPX file. I hope this helps -...

I had exactly the same recurring problem. With many thanks to the faeries it is now totally fixed - I have no idea what caused it to happen, but hopefully they can weave their magic for you too.

I was having another look at the site & see that all the GC cache listings that were created between 18 Aug - 11 Oct (at this stage) in the ACT have been archived on GCA (13 in total, including my 4).
