Re: Report Site Issues Here

Ask DEZ055, it's his challenge. The way it's been coded. We identify all of the the caches for a GeoArt Series which have not been archived. If there are 0 caches which are not archived, then the series is excluded from the challenge. We then get all of the finds you have on caches in the series whi...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

https://geocaching.com.au/cache/GA27404 Archived GeoArt caches (include the whole series if they are all archived) are not included in this challenge. This was DEZ055's challenge request: if a cache is Archived in the series, then it doesn’t count toward the number of caches needed to complete the s...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

Thanks for your report. This was a inconsistent error of my making which has now been fixed. Basically the incorrect waypoint (GAnnnn) number was being passed along through the process. Depending on whether the waypoint was subsequently used in the challenge, it would return the incorrect codeword. ...

Welcome to our newest developer - MattyRx

I would like you to extend a warm welcome to our newest developer. He is not a new member at Geocaching Australia but after a semi-random discussion about dZ games and the like, we discovered a joint passion for learning and programming and he has offered to step into our vacancy and help out where ...

Re: Challenge Cache

To everyone who was successful in their Challenge Cache entry, your cache listing and challenge checker have been created and transferred to you. You should have received a PM this morning explaining where to find your listing and what you next need to do to get your cache listing live. If you have ...

ACT DoE Volume of Traffic

https://ipinfo.io/203.62.28.71 Hi all. The ACT Department of Education are currently placing a staggering load on our server. I assume that this is a class that is using our site for something, but we can't sustain that amount of traffic. I'm talking about hundreds of hits on the maps, zones, kml, e...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

We've had some weird queries running lately which don't time out and use up our available disk space. I think I've tracked it down and have disabled it for the time being. That should put the system back to normal.

Re: Report Site Issues Here

I'm flying a bit blind here. Can you please let me know what the routes number are? The only one I can see you own is Melbourne to Adelaide (route 654). If you have any others then they aren't under your name or simply didn't save. If you can provide me a copy of the route you are trying to upload I...

Re: Mid-Year Mystery Madness Month

Somewhere between 2 days to about 4 months :-( Australia Post are the WORST at being predictable. I have had stuff sit at AP for 4-6 weeks, then get returned as undeliverable, yet the same package I send as replacement with tracking, gets done in 2 days. It's been a week, which is not abnormal. Give...
