Re: Magnets strong enough for caching
I just received a 1 inch diameter spherical neodium magnet in the mail from americia.
It can hold a Women's weekly on the fridge.
- why DO they call it a weekly when it is published monthly?

Re: Firefox 4*
i am enjoying the RockMelt browser. although i had to resurrect the Facebook account that had been taken out the back and shot. good if you are into the Social media and sharing whilst browsing. (runs on the Chrome motor and uses your activity to compile data to sell to people to make Facebook rich)...

Re: Waterproof Sistema? Doesn't look likely
Whilst I really like the humble Sistema, they don't pass the Beetroot test. The Beetroot test: Empty a can of Beetroot and juice into the container to be tested. Seal the container. Then tip the container on it's side. It's pretty obvious if the container has a good seal or not. When I've performed...

Re: How do you do ....... (GSAK)
I just keep one Database populated with all the caches for the areas I frequent. I keep it updated and macro a 100k radius to my Garmin 300 every couple of weeks, or after a 'spate' of new listings. When I know I am off to another area i run a filter of 'availables' and exclude any that have 3 out o...

Oregon 300 bulk waypoint delete
I am running a Garmin Oregon 300 and with the geognome race changing so much, I got the great idea of not pushing my pocket query through GSAK, and instead just copied it straight to >garmin\gpx\*.gpx. Now I noticed they all pop up in my 'waypoint manager' and now I have no more room to save any of ...

Yeah, just setting up a 1klm night cache that also involves origami. Will be good for the dogs, when she gets better (not the origami- dogs don't have thumbs).

calculate bearing and distance
I am stuck creating a hide trying to calculate the bearing and distance betwwen two given long/lat waypoints. I want to have the cache finder stand at one waypoint and project X degrees and Y meters to find the next stage in a multicache. I have my two waypoints in long/lat. what do I do with them? ...
