Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
I am not laughing so much now thinking that I will have to go to Sydney (3 hours train trip, thats one way, 6 hours return) to find some Gnomes. Is it just me or is there a shortage of Gnomes out there? :stabby ](*,) Mail order baby! Sit on the phone, ring a heap of stores mentioned here and order ...

Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
I have spent a perfectly good Sunday afternoon trawling the net looking at gnomes. I even liked a lot of them and am feeling the pressure to get more and put them in my garden. Is this what happens when you get one? (it is sitting on the kitchen bench waiting for the race) I even acquired a second g...

Re: iPhone Apps for geocaching
The only other problem is whether I can take this shiny thing out into the bush! Depends on your carrier. I am with Optus and the iPhone is near useless in the bush (and even near regional areas and city areas) because you won't get 3G or any coverage. The problem is that Optus use 900 hertz...

Re: Request for an small 'improvement'
A small improvement has been made. You will now notice at the top of the screen there is a wide logo containing the words Geocaching Australia and a narrow GCA standard 4 square logo. The wide logo performs as standard. The narrow logo will now open the GCA home page in a new tab / window. You just...

Re: Request for an small 'improvement'
Currently I have to remember to right click the logo and select 'open in new tab/window' so that I don't lose the forum page I am on. As I said I already open with the right mouse click and select a new tab. I was hoping to cut out one step and remembering that this site is one of those where I hav...

Request for an small 'improvement'
I always come to the GCA forum via a bookmark on my toolbar. So the forum is always my first port of call. There is often discussion I read on the forum about a feature/graph/whatever that I want to go and look at on the main site while keeping the forum thread open. When I go to the main site I alw...
