thanks peoples, ive put it down to this switch mode power supply, but bloody hell, its a HP laptop 3ghz, only 2 weeks old, u reckon they could get these things right?!?!?!?!???!!!!!!!

Destinator 3 does this, but has a price tag to match. I am still to test it out, as i only just got my laptop and GPS mouse is in the mail off ebay, but all reports that i have read from mp3car.com are good. It does all the voice stuff, as well as rerouting on the fly. will let you know how it goes....
