Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................
today I had a quick glance at a sign from where I had retrieved a trackable. I pointed it out to my son, and said "see, no trackables allowed. It actually said "no trailbikes"

Re: not so easy....
I have found a few in South Korea, pretty much the same, but you cannot read the logs, unless you read Korean, which I do not. O and the muggle factor is huge in downtown Seoul, especially if you are an extremely good looking round eyed white person such as myself...

Re: What model GPS should we upgrade to?
I don't think I have turned my GPS on since I bought an HTC desire phone...anywhere I am, I open the c;geo app, and I am away, as soon as I find it I can log it on the spot... Can also store caches off line if you are going somewhere that you dont expect to be getting 3g... I have compared it for ac...

Centroids and international caches
I was wondering if international caches which, obviously are from GC will ever show up in our centroids in GCA. I recently have been caching in South Korea, and my centroids have not shown changed, however they do when I cache in New Zealand. So can I take it from this that the centroids are only re...

Re: Telstra & Telstra Dealers
I am visiting South Korea. Before leaving, I checked that I was on global roaming (check). I checked the frequencies 2100 mHz (check) I checked via the website that my Nokia N95 used this frequency (check). However when I landed, my phone would not work. Grrrrrrr! I called Hellstra and spent quite s...

Re: Trimble Geocache Navigator - Now free for Nokia phones
DAmn! all mine does is searching for location..... for a long time...from what you guys are saying, I almost feel that I should return the device, but as the Trimble is not a supported application, there would be no grounds for that...Thanks Damo for your input, I shall keep trying and let you know ...

<Try running the map software and after it gets a lock, minimise it leaving it running and run Geocache Navigator and see if that makes any difference to picking up the GPS data. If that doesn't work, there are a few free port splitter programs that might fix the problem but I don't know why Coffee ...

I just had a look at the software and with the options available I don't think the problem is with it. Which phone are you using? Possibly it is not sharing the GPSr signal with other software? Its a nokia N95 and I feel that you have hit the nail on the head with the non-sharing signal thing...tha...
