Re: GC will not work in Chrome or Firefox
I have been a little remiss in not replying earlier, however in the mean time I have done a complete reboot of the laptop. Wiped the HD and started again. It is all working just like a new one, with the exception of all of the files I forgot to save ( it wasn't that many LOL) this may have been a bi...

Re: GC will not work in Chrome or Firefox
I listen to what you are saying, but, I turn java script off/on to no avail.
I reloaded Java-- no difference.
I reloaded Fire Fox-- no difference.
As with Tuena I seem to be getting the same symptoms with the exception of GCA which is OK.

GC will not work in Chrome or Firefox
I have always used either Chrome or FF as my browser but recently I cannot get GC to run a full program on either. It will only run on IE. I have a second computer and both browsers will run it there. The symptoms are: 1 When opening a page there will not be any maps in either pane, nor will there b...

Re: Switch browser for GSAK?
I have just been able to determine how to change my default browser to Chrome and have in turn been able to activate the polygon feature on GSAK.
Just have to sort out my other issue with FFox now.
Thanks.

Switch browser for GSAK?
I appear to be having some issues with Firefox browser, which means that when I attempt to use tools/ polygon/drawing action in GSAK it will not open. Can I change the nominated browser to Google Chrome instead of FFox? If so how? I have done a control panel uninstall of FF and then downloaded lates...

I just copied a database in GSAK, but where did it go?
I would like to copy this info and put it into another computer, is this possible?

I believe this thing has a mind of it's own. For the last 4 days it has been working perfectly. Mind you I am with rellies in Melbourne and with a BB connection readily available to use if required. However, I have been turning off prior to changing batteries, before I may have just reefed them out!...

Well the saga continues! The unit went back to the supplier (Menai Marine with whom I am completely satisfied) and he contacted Garmin who gave the following advice. Update the Firmware. He did this and it was returned. Great , turn it on and it would fire up every time----- for four days!!!! So I d...

map60 loading into memory card
Recently I read a post stating it was possible to load ALL of the waypoints of ALL caches in Australia onto the Memory card on the Map60. Is this feasable and if so how is it done.
I have a 1GB card fitted.
