Just my opinion but with Mapsource loaded with City Navigator, Shonkey Maps and Blue chart I am able to plan routes on the computer, see quite accurately where caches are before I leave home and plan the order I want to do them.

I removed some pornography which had been left in a cache and sent a PM to the owner. I made no mention on the find log in case it was a lowlife who had registered.

Lowrance GPS

A friend contacted me about a Lowrance iFinder Go Handheld Mapping GPS receiver he was given. I have not seen it but it apparently has USA maps on it. If anyone has one, can you tell me if it is possible to get Australian maps for it?

I have come accross snakes at a couple of cache locations and retreated. If I can't see what is in there, my hand doesn't go in. I will find astick or suitable object for a poke around.

A silly question probably but I am thnking of changing over to a Mac. I presume Mapsource is not compatable with Mac? What have Mac users done up until now to download to their Garmins?
