Re: GeGnome ][ Electric Boogaloo
My old Gegnome, Wilbur the ZuluTroop Scout http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga2921 is still floating around but hasn't moved in about a year. Dumb question - but if i "republished" his existing listing with the correct publish dates and appropriate, would he be in play again? I'd like to encourage him...

Trig point counts
Hi all,
Just having a silly little problem. Can someone link me to where in my profile it says how many trig points I've found please.

Have him on FB. Think he's in the USA at the moment.

Re: Swaggies are going to be removed from Geocaching Australia
My swaggies are all long gone. Unfortunately they never really took off.

Re: How many people still visit the forums
I drop through very occasionally. Still find probably one cache a month, mostly when travelling, or with scouts. For those that remember me, now firmly planted in Launceston, Tasmania.

Re: new GCA android app
I got the same phone. I don't trust the thing if I have my GPS with me, but for the occasional frog, it's (mostly) OK. If someone does have something better than Locus, I'd also like to know. Unfortunately we're still mid move. I'm in Tas, and hubby and kids are in SA. He had the motorbike and we u...

Re: new GCA android app
Until Locus is locked onto the satellites it will use Assisted GPS from the mobile phone network. Locus still wanders all over for me and points in the wrong direction half the time, so I use it, but only because I have found nothing better. I'd been driving for about half an hour, and it didn't se...

Re: new GCA android app
Hiya, Loving the app, simple and easy to use. However, I'm having trouble finding a "compass" app. I tried Locus Free, but it seems to give spurious distances, like 11km when I can see the frog sitting in front of me. I tried it again tonight and have uninstalled in disgust. I see the App "GPS Statu...

Re: Courteous Cacher
I believe a Courteous Cacher should carry basic caching gear and provide minor maintenance on non-metro caches. Notebooks, pencils, even containers.

Re: Oregon 450t - loading GPX files
Did you send them out as waypoints rather than as geocaches?
