Mmm, from looking at a couple of Mega Events in the US, it is quite on the convention scale, and the few I looked at were organized and run by Geocaching Corporations/Associations for whatever state, and listings published 6 months to a year in advance.

what about me

I love how someone finally realised that no one cares about the forward button, and they made the back button so big you can't miss it.

That's the only thing I noticed anyway.

So, are we talking something basic, geometric that can be printed effectively onto a sheet of paper in B&W and not look like a black fuzz ball (similar to the GC logo), or an incredibly detailed 3D logo that would look awesome blown up to 1ft on a T-shirt?

Or both.

I don't know what is is about finding them on my own, but I'm pretty sure I have only ever found 2 geocaches by myself, and that was because they were 'while I'm here I might as well find these' sort of ones.

I just don't find it as fun without a geo-friend along for the ride.
