Re: Most Recommended Caches

A yearly board would be neat, although in SA a cache would probably only need 3 to be top. A monthly board may not be useful (at least in SA), but the last 10/15 (or 20+ - depending on what fits) caches to be recommended would be neat. A changing board may even get a few more recommending caches. I ...

Re: Do I Log A Find?

....Good on you for removing it. You should reward yourself with a find. Thanks. I've logged the find and the contents (bar the log book) is in the bin. I should've added initially that the contents were strewn around the ground as though the cache had been muggled at some point. I do have several ...

Most Recommended Caches

Is it possible to limit the number of caches on this list, and then add a list for (say) most recommended this year (and/or month) or newly recommended? Whenever I view the state page the list is always the same and I have been starting to think lately that it's nice for those cache owners, but its ...

Do I Log A Find?

Hi All, Knew that this old cache had been archived awhile ago due to lack of maintenance, and I've finally got around to doing the world a favour and picking up the georubbish. In the picture https://sites.google.com/site/calumphingfourpictures/home/pictures/17092010%28002%29.jpg you can see I found...

This weekend must've been fun for the geostreak, with the amount of rain we've had - or have you managed a couple of Park'n'Grabs to stay dry :?:

Re: Newbie Question: Deleting *DRAFT* Caches

Hmmm, the usual dealie, it works for me :stabby http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga1369 is the cache I think we're talking about. What browser and version are you using? That's the first place to start. I think it was your typical office set up of version 7 Internet Explorer. Changing to a laptop run...

Re: Newbie Question: Deleting *DRAFT* Caches

I was trying to reuse a "Draft" one I created last year, as I finally was going to publish my first GCA (albeit a virtual to replace an interstate cache of mine that is now emtombed in concrete), but I haven't been able to edit the description. I've changed the name and location, but everytime I cha...

This here's the wattle - the emblem of our land.
You can stick it in a bottle or you can hold it in your hand.

Re: Longest without a find

I can add First Lunar (GCP3BQ), Isle of Illusions (GC18A6G), The Full Monty (GCKH1G), A River Somewhere (GC53F9), The Shadowlands (GC18AZY) as missing from the list. Those caches have been found at least once. The list only shows caches with no finds to date. After posting I did wonder whether I'd ...

Re: Longest without a find

This appears to be missing some caches... Such as? When I filter for South Australia I noticed that some of mine that have been unfound for 3 or 4 months don't show up. Re: Nomic vs ALR

Make it a mystery with a travel bug holding the location to the cache.
The rules can then concern what type of cache the TB can be placed in or how far away it can travel etc. etc.

If you do use a travel bug or geocoin, just make it paper with the tracking code on it.

Windows 7 Spooler Problem

Hi, [-o< Thought I'd try the GCA community to help solve a Windows7 problem I'm having with the wife's new laptop ( :( ). The print spooler does not start (error code 1813) and after trawling through lots of internet pages I'm still no closer to working out why it wont start ](*,) , and whether I sh...
