I also have a Powertech 300 amp inverter that is used to run the laptop during the day and the Engel at night, and it has been rock solid for about 3 years now. Can't recall the price but it came from ebay.

Home made maps for Oziexplorer
G'day cachers, <p> I have a couple of maps that I went to a lot of trouble to scan, stitch and calibrate for Oziexplorer. They are not perfect, but proved to be pretty accurate on a trip across the Simpson. I am now thinking about doing another one, when the thought hits me, maybe someone else has a...

Re: Any hints for a visitor?
MapSend WorldWide Basemap covers Australia, but is it any good? In a word NO. It is the greateast waste of money I have ever been stupid enough to invest in. Re: Fullers etc.
I can confirm that I also have the same problem. I sent an email to them about it asking where I could get the files, but got no response. All Cached Up wrote: Can anybody confirm that they are also having this problem?

Problem with SD card reader
Looking for someone to shed some light on a small problem. I recently purchased a 256mb SD card and 7 in 1 card reader for my Magellan Meridian. The card is working fine in the GPS, but in the card reader the system recognises it is there, but says it is not formatted. I am running WinXP and NTFS, t...
