Re: Why no caches in Coonabarabran
There was at least one. It was inside, or sometimes resided on top of, the minature observatory, out the front of the tourist information centre. That was the GCPBGZ I mentioned, Sky Eye off Newell. Yep, I found that one in Sep 2005. ALSO, I note the 2nd one I mentioned, GC120HA, Jupiter by Bluedog...

Re: www.muggled.net
I don't know if I'd (be dumb enough to) put my mug on the internet.
I wonder if they are prepared to muggle 5/5 caches, and then return them too (as he mentions).

Re: Taming new Garmin Montana
Have had my Montana 650t for over a year now. Have learnt some things, tricks, and one WHAT NOT TO DO! But back to your query: You cannot delete individual caches using the device only. Though, when you indicate them as found, they go off the "find caches" list. (which defaults to unfound). When you...

Re: Geocaching with a Garmin Edge 810
VERY interesting blog. I was (slightly) considering getting one for my bike (for sole use with the bike), in addition to my Garmin Montana 650t, but after reading your experience, the 650t is wayyyyyyyy better. Thanks for the informal review - it did answer a few ponderings I had that were not able ...

The NSW topo map. HORNSBY 91304S, NSW 25,000:1 has contour lines at 10 m intervals. OZI Explorer mapping software shows this map,so, looking at your Hornsby - Waitara area,
S 33 42.6051
E 151 06.1465
has an elevation of 190m.
S 33 42.6051

BUT...............Tupperware will survive the sun for over a decade, whereas sistema won't last a year! (Decor lasts close to 10 yrs) I know because I have had caches out in the open in an alpine environment 1800m+ elevation in Namadgi NP. The caches had cache creep and ended up being quite exposed...

Re: Trackables poll
None. The nastiest emails I have got from cachers has been from Trackable related issues. Don't and won't move them. Haven't had nasty emails, but I have most certainly had the funniest (& naive) ones from trackable owners. (And one trackable in a cache of mine could have ended quite differently) P...
