Re: SEQ GC caches needing adoption (Redland Bay area)
Thanks GhostGums, I'll see if I can figure out how to transfer them over.
Bewilderbeest, I hear the ACT has a lot of nice caches to be found, especially of the type that require a bit of a hike to get to Hunting down a few of them should be a good introduction to the area.

SEQ GC caches needing adoption (Redland Bay area) (adopted)
I'm relocating to the ACT shortly and need 4 geocaches in the Redland Bay area adopted out. They are ammo cans in bushland located on a loop of trail, and are fairly self sustaining. They get maybe 3-6 finds each per year. A walk to all four of them is a decent but enjoyable workout. They are: GCYKP...

Acheives absolutely nothing except to add to the concept that caching is littering. And the bag additionally obscures just what the package it contains is, further increasing suspicion. Not very many people will think that a painted or clear plastic systema container is dangerous, but wrap it in an...

And what a fantastic idea for the magnets, just send a couple of hundred through the post in separate packages on the same day and watch the postal system come to a grinding halt.. :x I'm certain the the HK post are very familiar with his packages, given the number that he probably sends out on any...

Screen replacement is about a 20-30 minute job which is not too complicated and doesn't need much more than a small phillips screwdriver, however the part may cost you more than a new laptop, especially given that it is a 5 year old model. I've had a similar problem with my display on an old IBM tha...

Is there someone who's always beating you to those coveted FTFs? You need to hide one of these in their geocar somehow... The only scenario I can come up with for using one of those involves stolen cars with built in GPS tracking... On a side note, magnets from DX are shipped unshielded, which may ...
