Re: "Computer support" phone scam
My mum got the microsoft scammer call her and when she truthfully said that she didn't have a computer the scammer called her every name under the sun. Got to feel sorry for people who fall for it though.

Re: Concerns re 2012 Oz Mega.
Most New South Wales Showgrounds allow dogs provided they remain on a leash.I've had a look at the Laurel Hill site, and it clearly states that pets are NOT welcome.
I couldn't find anything about pets and the Gundagai showground, although I assume that they are a bit more relaxed there.

Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
No zombies for me, it's a common joke in my family about my zombie phobia. I should never have sat up all night as a teenager watching zombie movies now I can't stand them. Luckily I have Gnomtaro the silent gninja gnome who with his deadly axe will protect us all from the zombie menace that austral...

Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
Woolies has small garden gnomes for $2. After the talk of gnomes as a possible container for the race these are cheap enough for a cache with a big enough hole underneath for a small container. I've grabbed one. Even if we don't use them for the race I'm going to release him on a mission. If we did ...

Bugger I wish I knew their was a virtual at Changi airport I would have found it. It's no use. He'll just say that as he couldn't attend the function he handed the booking to another company and he's extremely sorry they didn't turn up but it's out of his hands. Then you call the other company and they have no idea what your talking about. We've had plenty of phone calls from peo...

Re: Constructive Feedback for the Next Mega Event
My turn, I deal with a lot of Festival Committees and Agricultral Show Societies. The Oz Mega committe did a fantastic job especially considering they had no idea of how many people to expect. The standard of entertainment was what I normally see at a function of over 3000 people not 700. With the s...

Re: Where would you like to see the next Mega Event held?
South East Queensland has a lot satelite towns around Brisbane that have the infrastructure in the local showgrounds to hold a Mega Event. Buildings, luncheon rooms, toilets and showers for campers.
