you dont make a gpx file :shock: you go to tools in gSAK and click, second from the bottom you see 'file finder' click then use the drop bar in the next window to locate 'databases' click this will open the windows file folder that has the data base file located in it , right click and copy the data...

GDAK is a fine app , i have been using it for several years on my eee transformer . since the last couple of updates, api and the like as well as the format changes.
it has gone for clunky/chunky beta, to a smooth stand alone caching app

i love mine can send gpx to gps, runs GDAK and Ozi, , we always have a lappy of some sort as back up, to date have not needed it

Use map merge and put them together at the same time drop the pixel per inch rate, this will result in a small map, hope that helps
