Re: Report Site Issues Here
Is there a problem with the daily update email not being sent or is it just me that's not receiving it? I've received it almost every day for a number of years. Haven't changed anything recently (site or mail server) yet haven't received the emails for a few days. Nothing changed, no issues as far ...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
The two of mine that are doing it are GA5595 and GA5591 both still in draft. (old drafts) The other one belonged to Gwawr on a private browser session on this same PC and it only did it on the second edit of the draft. (GA12797 which was created last week.) So you can see what I am seeing I have sav...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
I think that there is a problem with editing draft cache process as the field for the cache name continually defaults to be the cacher name when bringing up the cache edit page. If not noticed then your cacher name becomes the cache name on saving the edits and your original cache name seems to be l...

Re: Seems like it's time to throw away your maintenance kit
On GC a cache owner agreed to be responsible for maintenance on both the cache AND the listing when they submitted a cache for publication so if an owner doesn't acknowledge or respond to the finders 'maintenance' within 28 days then the cache is deemed to be abandoned and subject to being archived....

Re: Report Site Issues Here
ga10036 should be showing as being in the Cunderdin LGA/dragonZone as it is in the middle of the Cunderdin townsite but currently shows as Unknown for some reason.
(The other nearby GCA cache is showing as being in Cunderdin OK.)
Is this able to be fixed?

Re: Senate - Calls for nominations 2018 / 2019
I'm too am certainly happy to be a senator again. I've been a member of Geocaching Australia since April, 2005 and have been a senator since 2016. The GCA cache, Blair Witch, was my very first geocache a few months before doing one from the other listing site. dragonZone and the games associated wit...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
tbh asked me why she could no longer directly link from the publish emails to the cache page so I had a look and found that unlike the watchlist mails sometime after 15th March the GCA Geocache Alert emails for moves and publishes seem to have lost the full URL links to both the cache page and googl...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here
When I do a query on dZ caches that I have found since my dZ start date I get 471 but the statistics on https://geocaching.com.au/cacher/statistics/Chwiliwr/finds/ show 472. The difference seems to be that the statistics are counting Geocacher and History cache finds in the total but they do not hav...

Re: Username update
The GC logs transferred to GCA do not seem to have a space in the name but when looking at the same cache on the GC website I found a space in the name for the equivalent log. https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=be54e16a-bcb0-40fd-9d1e-21b6f5d163a9 (Lil Rafa) A friendly reviewer advised that th...

Re: No go caching areas
I was wondering what the best way is to figure what areas one may place a cache in and what obstacles need to be overcome to hide in those that are borderline. I was planning a Kangeroo Island cache a few months ago but it came up as a no-go. By the time I figured the situation, it was too late. I'...

Re: FTF Bookmark list in Project-GC
I believe you have to be a paid member of Project-GC to use their ftf bookmark list option otherwise use one of the nominated ftf triggers in each of your ftf logs which doesn't require any paid membership to Project-GC. With a locked cache it doesn't stop it being added to a bookmark list as the 'a...
