Whilst caching in Queenstown (NZ) last week we came across this....
There was an identical info plate under a trig elsewhere, but this one doesn't have a mast or post/cairn etc....
Could we/should we publish it?
Cheers, Lee

My Query (trigs) - found status
I've noted that the queries I make for our GPS for trigs don't seem to indicate the found status - ie they all show up with the same symbol whether we've logged a find or not. Is there a fix to this?
I'm using a Garmin Oregon....
Cheers

We've passed the halfway point now..... and now we've worked out how to have them display on the GPS we're on fire!

Re: Trigs GPX file problems
That was it.... Thanks very much CraigRat.... I didn't have a filter active, as I always want to see all caches, but went into the filter settings and hit "Show All" - now they appear, but as that weird little chest symbol that Garmin use. The last time I had to delve into the filter was when caches...

Re: Trigs GPX file problems
Instead of using the file you got emailed to you, create a query and upload that GPX file to it. Does that work? I think I've tried that too - do you mean going to the page at http://geocaching.com.au/my/query/ and trying the ZIP/GPX link? I placed the GPX file on my sons little Magellan explorist ...

Re: Trigs GPX file problems
I still can't get a trigs GPX file to show up....
On the GPS is a bunch of waypoint files (made in GPS) and a Groundspeak Pocket Query - should I expect the trigs to co-exist with them like that?
I've changed the format to 1.0.1 with no result.....
Any/all help appreciated....

Trigs GPX file problems
I don't seem to be able to get a trigs GPX file to show up on my Garmin Oregon 650. I have a GPX mailed to me daily, but when I copy it to the GPX folder on the GPSr, the waypoints don't show up on the map, or in the search list. I've looked at the GPX file with a GPX file editor, and it clearly sho...

Re: Geocaching apps
Hello, and welcome to caching! Nice to have another Yorke Peninsula cacher! (I'm from Curramulka myself - you?) And I second Yurt's suggestion for c:geo. I have been using it for years and it is a great app - it also happens to be free! Ardrossan. Literally started doing this sunday afternoon. Kids...

Re: HIGH SCORES - can you really find this many?
I took my two kids out caching on the weekend, to finish off the day, we did a little 7 cache PT - in and out of the car every 250m with a three year old to buckle/unbuckle - I'd had enough of PT-ing after 7.... :) The weekend before we set off into the National Park/State Forest for 3 hours to get ...

Re: Is Geocaching Australia worth pursuing?
To be honest I wasn't even aware of the distinction between GCA and the 'main mob' - I was introduced to geocaching by a friend with the iPhone app, and thought what I was seeing here in terms of caches was really a mirror of the app's caches..... I am now assuming that there are caches here that ar...

Hi there....
New to GC, have had some fun doing some local caches lately, with 5&2yo in tow.... Did some extreme-geocaching on the weekend - pushing/carrying a pram up Mount Sugarloaf, lucky we found the cache!
